Summer Coda_Day 14_Discussing the Vision

Canon 5D Mark II camera and Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS L series USM lens @ 125mm. Exposure Details: 1/250 second @ f5.6 ISO 400

Here we are again on the set of Summer Coda. This image is from Day 14 and features Director Richard Gray and Director of Photography (DOP) Greg Marigny discussing the filming of an upcoming scene set in an orange grove near Mildura.

This is very much a candid image shot pretty much from the hip. This is often the case while looking for interesting behind-the-scenes images often made in the moments between moving from one scene to another.

I feel that the rendering of the original color image into black-and-white has helped capture the mood of the late afternoon light as the weather changed from bright sunlight to the brooding quality associated with an approaching storm front.

Initial processing was conducted in Adobe Lightroom 2. Adobe Photoshop CS4 was employed to provide the image with a lovely warm split tone and gentle glow.
