Canon 5D Mark II camera and Canon 24-105mm f4 L series USM lens @ 24mm. Exposure Details: 1/250 second f8 ISO 400

This image was made in a field by the edge of the Cairn Curran Reservoir in Central Victoria. I drove my 4WD (SUV) down to the shore of the Reservoir and, after a short walk, turned around to behold this lovely scene. I was taken with the vibrant colors, strong textures and dramatic clouds. I used a Polarising filter to enhance the already saturated colors and further emphasize the shape of the clouds.

Processing was conducted in Adobe Lightroom 2 and Adobe Photoshop CS4.

  1. Absolutly amazing photograph, I love the differnt lines in it, the wind swept grass leads to the tracks, the tracks through the rest of the image.
